Lavishly illustrated guide to the many tellings of the legend of King Arthur, his Knights of the Round Table, & Camelot in verse, literature, & art, in 224 pages, with 80 black-and-white drawings & 16 full-color, full-page plates throughout text. A FIRST AMERICAN EDITION from 1975, this hardcover has rust linen-covered boards that are very clean & tightly bound. NO writing/highlighting/underlining; NOT ex-lib. Only real flaw is slightly bumped corners & mild tanning around all page edges, heavier on endpapers. Lovely old book mustiness is slight. Unclipped DJ is also Near Fine, with extremely slight edgewear & light soiling in a few places; beautifully protected in new mylar cover. A lovely copy! Photos show the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have on hand.
