Classic Cold War era sic-fi. BCE (Book Club Edition) set in the not-so-distant future from its publication in 1949, ie, 1960. From the Doubleday Science Fiction Book Club, it has the identical original DJ cover art as the true first edition. Book is Good, with rubbing & edgewear to extremities, tanned pages. Binding tight, with noticeable lean, but book is clean & completely unmarked. The DJ is intact, but downgraded to only acceptable due to large chips; missing entire lower half of spine.
