Santa Visits Mother Goose

Vintage First Edition pop-up book from 1953, in which Santa is summoned to Mother Goose Land for Christmas. Condition is only Fair: most of the pop-ups are intact & work correctly, though all have edgewear, creases, etc. There was a bag of sugar candy that is missing. Folded napkin that turns into a toy parachute is intact, as are the blackbirds popping out of the pie, the pig in the wheelbarrow (no sqeaker), the book of Mother Goose rhymes inside the back cover, & the first large pop-up featuring Santa & his reindeer sleigh. Generally clean, all pages intact, but beginning to tear away at bottom of the spiral binding. Former owner's name filled in on gift box on first page; NO other writing/underlining/highlighting/coloring. All in all, a decent copy oif a scarce collectible pop-up book!
