From the estate of a sci-fi collector, this is a FIRST BRITISH EDITION, First Printing hardcover with original DJ, both in Near Fine condition. Hardcover book has green paper-covered boards with gilt emblem to front & lettering to spine. Condition is Near Fine: looks, feels, & smells just about brand new, but downgraded due to moderate page tanning, heaviest around outer edges, completely unmarked & clean. Binding tight & square. The DJ, illustrated by Gus Faux, is clipped at bottom corner of front flap where British price in pounds sterling would have been. It is also Near Fine, with just a hint of edgewear, but no tears or chips or fading.Our photos depict the exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have!
