In 282 pages, + extra ads for other Whitman books in rear, this one (#1567) is in only Fair condition: clean, with minor surface rubbing & edgewear, bumped corners, light soil. Rear hinge is cracked & has been reglued; text block strong. Protective acetate coating is tearing in places along the spine. Light dampstain to bottom page edges. All pages show moderate-heavy tanning, especially around edges, in line with age & paper quality, but are unmarked.
