This is the "First Utah Edition'' (First, thus), with an Introduction by Joseph F. Smith himself, from 1901, with a Foreword by editor Preston Nibley. Hardcover has light blue cloth-covered boards decorated & lettered in black & silver on both front & spine. condition is VG: very clean, binding straight & strong, pages modestly tanned around edges. Rubbing to extremities, heavy at both ends of spine & all corners. The unclipped DJ (with orig. $3.25 price intact on front flap) is Poor, as it is missing large chips & the entire bottom 2" of front cover. What is there is nicely preserved in clear mylar.
