Orig. published in 1935 by Scribner's, this is the first printing from the Sun Dial Press from 1944 (First, thus). With green cloth-covered boards & gilt title to front & spine, this hardcover book is in Good condition: generally clean, binding secure, but front hinge is cracking. Moderate tanning, heavier around edges, with foxing to external fore edge pages, but completely unmarked save for rubbing & slight dampstain to same edge. The price-clipped DJ is also only Good, with minor chips & creases, slight spine fade, edgewear; nicely protected in mylar by original owner.
