With matte decorative paper over boards, no DJ as issued (these editions never came with them). A First Edition from 1960 (unknown printing), this hardcover book is in solidly Good condition: generally clean with expected light soil/darkening to outside page edges. Binding strong & straight, but a little shaken, & front hinge is torn from bottom edge up 2". Pages show moderate tanning, heavier around edges, commensurate with age & paper quality. Former owner's name in pen on title page & old gift inscription in pencil opposite dated 1962, else unmarked.
