Orig. published in 1956, this is the First Mass Market Paperback Edition from1958, in 232 pages. Autobiographical work in which the renowned critic offers "a symphonic mediation" on a wide range of topics from the perspective of turning 60. Condition is VG+: completely clean save for some light surface darkening, binding straight & strong, pages lightly tanned, heavier around edges, but unmarked.
