Collection of short prayers for young children, all illustrated with lovely watercolor designs by Rachel Taft Dixon, in 39 pages + 2-page Index. Orig. published in Sept 1942, this book was so popular that it had already reached a Third Printing by Oct. of that same year (this one). Small hardcover has brightly colored purple paper-covered boards with a cover illustration by Dixon. Condition is extraordinarily Near Fine: completely clean & bright, pages off-white, with modest tanning around outer edges. Colors bright, binding strong & straight. Former owner's name in neat pen inside "This book belongs to" box inside front cover, else unmarked. Very slight bumping to lower-outer corner of front cover. And the scarce DJ is present, though in VG- condition, marred by chipping at all corners & both ends of spine. Clean & bright, & now protected in new mylar cover Free!
