Lovely vintage illustrated edition from c. 1913, in 127 pages with a full-color frontispiece + numerous other pen-and-ink drawings throughout the text. Hardcover book has olive green cloth-covered boards with a decoration etched in black & gilt lettering to front/black to spine. Condition is downgraded to only Good+ because the title/copyright page & rear endpaper have been sliced out; no evidence of this being ex-lib though. Publisher & illustrator unknown. Publication date estimated from git inscription dated Xmas 1913 on the ffep, else unmarked. Binding is secure & straight, hinges intact. Two pages have tiny tears at edges; all pages mildly tanned, slightly heavier around edges. Rubbing to extremities & heavy corner bumping.
