Orig. published in 1910, this is a later (post-WWII) Reilly & Lee reprint (c. 1920) , with the original color plates by John R. Neill now rendered into simple pen-and-ink. In 296 pages, with decorative endpapers, lavishly illustrated throughout. This edition has the original blue-colored cloth over boards (not the later orange ones), with a brilliantly colored paper pastedown to front cover & black lettering & design to spine (fancy publisher script, not plain). Condition is VG: very clean, binding straight & strong, pages creamy white with a whisper of tanning to edges; no foxing or stains. Old child's name in pencil in ownership box, which we have left intact in honor of that long-ago reader. Bumped corners, pushed spine, rubbing to extremities, heavy in a few places, leaving a small hole (see top of spine-front cover interface). Front pastedown is brilliant & bright, NO fading or edgewear! Alas, the original DJ is long gone, but this remains a handsome copy! Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same Day Shipping on all orders received Weekdays by 2 pm (Pacific Time); later orders, Weekends, & holidays ship very next business day.
