A First Edition in this format from 1950 (First, thus), this oversized hardcover has bright yellow boards with colorful decoration all around. Condition is VG+: extremely clean, sewn binding tight & square, pages white with just a whisper of tanning to edges. Old gift inscription dated Xmas 1955 on verso of ffep & "This book belongs to" box inside front cover filled in with a child's name in pen, else unmarked. Slightly bumped corners, rubbing to extremities, & protective acetate coating is just beginning to peel at foot of spine. A lovely clean & bright copy!
