Crowley scholar & editor Starr offers a detailed 13-page Prolegomenon in which he places this book & Crowley's attitudes on sex in literature in the sociocultural climate of early 20th-century England. First published in this format in 1986, this is the corrected, reset edition with aforementioned prolegomenon, apparently from same year.
