Contains 42 classic fairy tales edited by Lang in the third of his "color" fairy series. Originally published in 1892, this is the FIRST Looking Glass Library edition from 1960 (First, Thus), with lovely pen-and-ink illustrations by series artist Reisie Lonette. Small hardcover with light green decorative paper over boards; NO DJ. Condition is downgraded to only Good because 1) the paper spine covering was loose & reglued, 2) former owner's name written on outside fore edge pages, 3) mild-moderate edgewear & rubbing all around, heavily worn corners. The interior is very clean, pages creamy white with mild tanning to edges, but unmarked. Our photos depict the EXACT book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have.
