Orig. published in 1934, this one was published by Grosset & Dunlap, who produced these books from 1938-1954, so it is a later printing, listing to BG #8 in front matter. Hardcover has green cloth-covered boards with darker lettering to front & spine, in 256 pages with glossy frontispiece. Condition is VG: very clean, pages creamy white with modest tanning to edges. Binding secure, hinges intact. Old gift inscription on ffep in pen; else unmarked. Slight rubbing to extremities & mild bumping to all corners & both ends of spine. Lots of small chips/rubbed spots (likely insect damage to top outside page edges).
