Vol. #2 in the second Tom Swift series, which was comprised of 33 volumes written under the pseudonym Victor Appleton II. Originally published in 1954, this book is part of the second Picture Cover series from the 1960s, with decorative paper over boards & golden yellow spines/back covers, in 208 pages with a plain frontispiece & blue/white endpapers by illustrator Graham Kaye. It is a later printing, listing to book #20 in front matter & #30 on back cover. Condition is Good+: generally very clean, binding straight & strong, hinges intact, pages creamy white with very mild tanning/dust dulling to outside edges. This is an ex-school-library copy, but the only sign is card pocket & stamp inside front cover, else unmarked. Rubbing to extremities & slight spine fade are worst flaws. NO DJ, as issued.
