Condition is truly Fine (our highest grade): looks & feels never opened or used! All outside page edges trimmed in gilt, which is bright & shiny, NO dulling. Thumbed section tabs are clean & crisp. Pages creamy white with just a whisper of tanning around edges; very light foxed spots in front matter only. Decorative endpapers, hinges secure, binding strong & straight. Former owner's name in pen on ffep. No DJ, as issued (never came with one in this edition).
