Orig. published in 1919, this is a Scholastic Books trade paperback version c. 1970s-1980s of one of the "white cover" reprints first issued in the late 1950s-1960s, which retains the original O'Neill cover art & internal illustrations in pen-and-ink throughout the 208 pages. Softcover book is in VG condition: a few creases & short tears & nicks to both covers+ 1 long vertical crease to front are only flaws. Else, completely clean, binding straight & strong, pages creamy white with age-appropriate tanning, heavier around edges, but completely unmarked.
