A FIRST EDITION, 5th printing from 1941 of the famed Hawaiian writer's 12th book of poetry, in143 pages with a Glossary of Hawaiian words in rear. Illustrated by author in pen-and-ink throughout text, and personally SIGNED & INSCRIBED by the AUTHOR in 1942 in Provo, UT, on page opposite his photo in front matter. With light blue cloth-covered boards & gilt lettering to front & spine, the book is in VG condition: completely clean, binding straight & strong, hinges secure. Pages creamy white with moderate tanning to all edges, but unmarked. Modest rubbing to extremities, & slight spine fade.
