A contemporary of Mary Pickford in the silent screen era, actress ZaSu Pitts (1894-1963) rose to fame as a comedienne in a career than spanned nearly 50 years. Less well-known is the fact that she was a candy maker, learning her craft at the Los Angeles Farmer's Market. Here, she shares her techniques & recipes, in 93 pages with Index & film still duotone photos from some of her films throughout text. A FIRST EDITION, first printing from 1963, this hardcover book has a pink quarter-bound cloth spine with striped pink & purple-gray paper covering the remaining boards.
