With brown textured cloth over boards & black title box lettered in gilt to spine, this hardcover book is in Good condition: very clean, binding strong, but 4 pages (2 leaves) in rear comprising Figs 127-129 are completely loose. Pages creamy white with the occasional spot or smudge, else unmarked. MISSING pages: in front matter & rear, including Title & copyright pages & last page(s) of Index, which have been neatly excised; also missing are plates 142-157 in center of book--price reduced accordingly.
