Book #9 by the beloved Hawaiian poet, once more illustrated with his own drawings throughout the 121 pages of text. SIGNED by the author (with "Aloha!)" on his picture in front matter. Orig. published in 1933, this is the Sixth printing from 1939, in Near Fine condition: slim hardcover has kelly green cloth-covered boards with silver lettering to front & spine. Spine is heavily faded, with rubbing a bit of fraying to both ends. Else, completely clean, binding strong & straight, both hinges secure, pages modestly tanned; no foxing. Former owner's bookplate to ffep; NO writing/highlighting/underlining; not ex-lib. Slight corner bumping is only other flaw. NO DJ (missing).
