Scarce turn-of-the-century collection of recipes compiled by women's groups around the country, all with different recipes but same title. this one is from the members of the Ladies Aid Society of the Central M.E. (Methodist Episcopal) Church of Utica, NY. Also includes a Directory of members' names & addresses & the Constitution of the Women's Federation in front matter. In 47 pages, with ads for local businesses interspersed throughout. No Date, but c. early 1900s. Gray paper wrappers with design & lettering stamped in black to front, bound with 2 staples (showing rust). Condition is Fair: paper wrapping the binding is torn & missing sections, with short tears moving horizontally into margin of front cover. Moderate edgewear all around, bumped corners, light soil to exterior & random spotting throughout. Former owner's name in pencil to front cover.
