FIRST EDITION, third printing from 1954 of this fourth collection of macabre cartoons by the creator of the Addams Family & master of dark humor. Includes original, unclipped DJ (with orig. $2.95 price at bottom of front flap) with full-color Addams art, beautifully protected in new archival mylar cover. The DJ is downgraded to only Good+ due to heavy fading along top edges & edgewear, including short tears & chips, light soil. The hardcover book has a quarter gray cloth-wrapped spine with black cloth covering the remaining boards, lettered in stamped black to front & spine. Condition is VG: very clean, binding is tight & square, heavy sunning to top edges, less so along bottom. Rubbing at corners & both ends of spine, with a tiny bit of fraying.
