Their photos appear on the cover of the book here, as well as on the title page & in still photos from the production thru the 177 pages of text. Subsequently made into a film & TV movie, nominated for several awards on both. A FIRST EDITION, first printing, from 1956, this hardcover small 8vo (5.5" x 8.25") in gray textured cloth over boards. Condition is Near Fine: very clean & bright, binding straight & strong, pages creamy white with just a hint of tanning. Former owner's name in pen to ffep. Mild rubbing to extremities & pushing to both ends of spine/bumped corners.
