A FIRST AMERICAN EDITION, but later (9th) printing, this hardcover has green cloth-covered boards with a gilt symbol to front cover & lettering to spine, red top stain. In 365 pages + foldout map in back is securely attached & appears never unfolded (except for our photo!). Condition is VG+: aside from old gift inscription in pen to ffep, it is completely clean, binding strong & straight, hinges intact. Pages creamy white. Mild rubbing to all extremities, slight pushing to head of spine. The price-clipped DJ is VG-/Good+, downgraded due to chipping at both ends of spine & all corners, light soil; nicely protected in new mylar cover free!
