This is a novel in verse form about an American woman who marries an Englishman & loses him in WWI, then has to face new perils with her newborn son & mother-in-law. "Signed" by the author, but actually "alias, Ruth Fiske" to a Peg Brackenbury on Jan. 25th 1943 (at which date the actual author was deceased).
