A FIRST EDITION from 1938, this hardcover small 4to has a yellow cloth-wrapped spine lettered in black, with patterned black/yellow/white paper over the remaining boards. Condition is VG+: very clean, with tanning to endpapers, light exterior soil, & spotting of unknown origin to outside of bottom page edges. Else, unmarked. Binding is straight & strong, pages creamy white. Hues on the colored drawings are bright & the white glossy background is completely clean, with no foxing or tanning. Missing DJ.
