No. 33 in a set of booklets for children produced by the Stecher Lithographic Co., which was a leader in the chromolithographic industry of Rochester, NY, in the late-19th century. This one is a collection of drawings & verses by Margaret Evans Price (1888-1973), who started out as a toy manufacturer, & branched out into both writing & illustrating children's books. In decorative wrappers with 12 internal pages (though unpaginated), n.d., but research identifies it as 1916. Stapled binding, staples showing mild rust, but secure, though paper along spine is tearing at top & bottom (about 2" each direction). Modest rubbing, light surface soiling, chipping, mild corner creasing. Internal pages are exceptionally clean & unmarked, colors vivid, creamy white with mild, even tanning. A lovely example of Ms. Evans work! Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same Day Shipping on all orders received by 2 pm Weekdays (Pacific); later orders, Weekends & holidays ship very next business day.
