A FIRST EDITION, unknown printing, from 1936, this hardcover 8vo has teal cloth-covered boards lettered in black to front & spine, in 251 pages. Condition is VG: very clean, binding strong & straight, pages significantly tanned, heaviest to edges, unmarked save for inside front cover, which has a partially crossed-out gift inscription from 1943 in pencil & the remains of a former owner's bookplate. Very minor rubbing to extremities, light corner bumping, slight pushing to spine. The unclipped DJ is VG-/G+: unusually clean & bright & colorful, with very slight edgewear, including a noticeable chip at head of spine-front cover interface.
