Orig. published in 1932, this is a later printing (1949-A per Farah's 11th), medium-blue cloth binding with darker blue printing & blue silhouette of Nancy with magnifying class on right side of front cover, blue silhouette endpapers, listing to ND #26 on front flap, VB#4 on back, DG #4 on rear flap. White spine DJ retains the original cover art of Russell Tandy, as does the plain frontis; no internals. Orig. text in 209 pages, 25 chapters. Condition is Good+: generally quite clean with the occasional smudge or spot. Moderate rubbing to extremities & bumped corners. Former owner's name inside both front & back covers, another name in front in lighter pencil, else unmarked. Binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages mildly tanned. The unclipped DJ is Good, with significant rubbing to extremities, many tiny chips & light creases. Shadow of old tape inside, which also discolor all endpapers where former owner taped DJ to book.
