Book #4 in the popular girl's series published 1948-1986, one of the original six books by Julie Campbell before the series was taken over by the syndicate under the pen name "Kathryn Kenny." This is one of the "cello" bindings, same size as the "cameos" & "uglies,'' but with glossy acetate over the paper covered boards & new cover art (here, by Mary Stevens, who also did the internal illustrations). In 282 pages in 236 pages, pink & blue endpapers with "snapshot" photos of Trixie & her pals. Condition is Good- (minus): generally very clean, cover colors bright, pages tanned, heavier around edges (commensurate with age & paper quality), but unmarked save for former owner's name to ffep. Front hinge appears reglued. Dampstaining to top edges of all pages in rear half of book. Fairly heavy edgewear, with paper rubbed along bottom edges & all corners. Cello peeling along spine.
