Originally published in 1933, this is the 16th printing of the 1961 American edition with the copyright renewed by the author's wife. Hardcover 8vo has red cloth-covered boards decorated & lettered in blue to front & spine. An Ex-Lib copy, it is in only Fair condition, downgraded due to heavy rubbing to all extremities, light soil, old library stamps & markings card pocket residue in front matter & to bottom outside page edges. But the text block is secure & hinges intact, text pages unmarked. The partially clipped DJ (with orig. $4.95 price intact to bottom front flap) is VG+: bright & colorful, though with spine fading & scraping/paper loss to lower spine from removal of old call number. But the front design is nearly flawless & completely charming; nicely protected in new mylar cover Free!
