Orig. published in 1930, this is a later printing from 1955 (per Farah's 11th, 1955C-54), retaining the original text in 25 chapters & 204 pages, with cover art, plain frontispiece, & 5 internals by Russell Tandy. Hardcover book has the blue tweed cloth-covered boards with "digger" endpapers. Condition is VG+: very clean & bright with modest rubbing to extremities. Binding straight & strong, hinges intact. Pages white with a hint of tanning to edges, unmarked except for long gift inscription in pen to back of ffep.The unclipped DJ is mostly all there, but with a large missing section to front cover, so downgraded to Fair.
