A First Edition, unknown printing, from 1923, this hardcover12mo has blue-gray cloth over boards stamped with lighter blue lettering & a cameo image to front, darker blue lettering to spine. Condition is VG: quite clean, binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages only lightly tanned, heavier around edges, but completely unmarked. Mild-moderate rubbing to extremities & a hint of corner bumping. The unclipped DJ (listing other children's titles on flaps, back cover, & verso) is VG+: exceptionally clean & bright & colorful, with just slight rubbing & 1 small hole to mid spine; nicely protected in new mylar cover Free!
