Originally published in English in 1950 as "Evolution Versus the New World," this is one of many proselytizing tracts handed out door-to-door & on street corners by Jehovah's Witnesses. With the Spanish-language editions, the organization hoped to reach the increasing number of Hispanic migrants in the US. It begins with the statement, "Jehovah God promises a new world to bring mankind to perfection. Scientists offer evolution as the means of man's ascent to new heights." The booklet then proceeds to discuss the contrasting views between the biblical promise of a new world and the scientific theory of evolution. Small (16mo) pamphlet (4.5" x 7") in colorfully decorated wrappers, stapled binding, which has been taped with clear cellophane tape. Condition is Good: minor edgewear & chipping, short tear at lower spine.
