First published in 1889, this is a faithful reproduction from 1994, with a new DJ design by Arvis Stewart, in 390 pages, including the original Preface by Lang. Hardcover octavo has blue matte paper over boards with a different colored blue wrapping the spine, lettered in white. Condition is Near Fine: exceptionally clean & bright, with light, age-appropriate foxing to endpapers & exterior page edges. Pages white & otherwise completely unmarked. Binding strong & straight, corners crisp. The unclipped DJ is also Near Fine, with slight crinkling along head of spine & upper-outer front corner has a teeny tear at flap; beautifully protected in new clear mylar cover free for years of reading pleasure!
