Orig. issued in 1920 as a companion to his "Cinderella,'' this edition was reissued by Viking for new generations in 1972, in 110 pages. Though an EX-LIB copy, it has minimal stamps & markings, carefully removed card pocket in front matter. Hardcover small 4to 7.25" x 9.50") has brilliant red cloth-covered boards stamped with a bright gilt illustration to front/gilt lettering to spine. Condition is VG: very clean & bright, stitched binding strong & straight, pages creamy white with mild tanning, unmarked save for those few library stamps in front matter & top outside edges. The unclipped DJ has been carefully removed from the old library mylar & replace with Brand New: it is Near Fine: clean & bright with just a hint of rubbing to some corners.
