Orig. published in 1930, this is a later "blue tweed" printing from the mid-1950s (1956A-74, per Farah's 11th), with digger endpapers & a wrap DJ, with the 2nd cover art by Bill Gillies, but retaining the plain frontispiece by Russell Tandy; no internals. Orig. text in 200 pages, 25 chapters. The book is in Near Fine condition: exceptionally clean & bright, vivid blue topstain, binding strong & straight. Pages creamy white & unmarked save for name of two former owners in pen in front matter. Crisp corners. The DJ is clean & bright as well, but downgraded to VG because it is missing the front flap; very mild rubbing & light creasing; nicely protected in new mylar cover Free!
