In 219 pages, with Frontispiece + 8 internal plates in full color (All present with stark white margins, bright colors, no foxing) + 300 other illustrations throughout the text + decorative endpapers by the prolific British children's book artist Charles Folkard; J. H. Hartley is also named as an illustrator on spine, though not internally credited. N.d., but research places it c. 1919. Small quarto (7.5" x 9.75") has deep blue cloth-covered boards stamped in black & orange with the classic image of Mother Goose riding her goose with her pointed witch-looking hat & cane. Condition is VG-/Good+: generally quite clean with the occasional tiny spot or smudge. Stitched binding strong & square, both hinges secure. Pages creamy white with moderate tanning, heavier around edges, but unmarked.
