This first Modern Library edition (#68)) has 548 pages + list of other ML titles in rear, A Note on the Author summarizing some of the earlier controversy, & a Foreword by the Author. Hardcover12mo has brown mustard-colored cloth over boards blindstamped with the ML symbol to front & lettered & ruled in bright silver to spine. Condition is Fine: exceptionally clean & bright, binding strong & straight, hinges secure, pages slightly off-white & completely unmarked. Just a hint of bumping to lower corners & heel of spine. The unclipped DJ (with new cover art by E. McKnight Kauffer), with $2.95 price intact to front flap (indicating a later printing), is Near fine, with a few tiny chips & short, unclosed tears; nicely protected in new clear mylar cover free.
