At the time, Justice was a professor at the University of Iowa & active in its renowned Writers' Workshop. He would go on to win the Pulitzer prize for his poetry in 1980. Orig. published in Feb.1967, this is the Third Printing of that FIRST EDITION from Nov. 1968, in 77 pages, with list of other Wesleyan titles in rear. Small octavo has decorative wrappers in shades of gray/black/white. Condition is Near Fine: completely clean with very slight fading & rubbing to extremities, dust dulling to external page edges. Pages moderately tanned around edges, unmarked save for 2 small initials to ffep. Binding strong & straight--feels unopened.
