Octavo with black/red/white paper over boards, design replicated on accompanying DJ. An EX-LIB copy, with the usual stamps & markings & card pocket, this is a reading copy only: small random stains, binding cracked in place, dampstain to fore edge side of half-title page, etc. The unclipped DJ, on the other hand, is VG, having been protected under library mylar, which has been cleaned & spine call number carefully removed. split bindingmall quarto has cloth-covered boards, stamped with bright gilt lettering to spine. Condition is clean, binding strong & straight, pages off-white & unmarked with tanning., corners crisp. The DJ is , with rubbing to extremities, chips, unclosed tears; nicely protected in new clear mylar cover free!
