You're buying this, though, because you're a Gorey completist, as i's another in the series of mass market paperbacks he did for Anchor while he was struggling to make it as an illustrator in his own right. It is Anchor A115, & Gorey did only the typography here; cover art by Leonard Baskin. Condition is VG- (minus): generally quite clean, pages off white with slight scattered underscoring in pencil, some pen, & some marginal annotations--unobtrusive, for the most part. Front cover shows light edgewear, heavy crease to bottom outer corner, spine fading & that wraps onto each cover. Nicely protected in new mylar collector bag.
