A FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from 1944, in 204 pages with the original 25 chpts, this 12mo has blue cloth-over boards lettered in darker blue to front & spine. Condition is VG: generally very clean with some white discoloration to bottom portions of both front & rear boards. Binding straight & secure, but shaky, with front hinge starting. Pages creamy white with light tanning to edges, unmarked save for former owner's name & gift inscription dated 1944 to "this is my book" box on ffep. The unclipped DJ is just Good- (minus), with soil/discoloration/dampstaining/old tape repairs to bottom half of back cover, as well as clear tape repairs to both ends of spine, slight chipping to lower spine & corners. Old $.60 price sticker to rear flap. Front cover is bright, colorful, & unfaded, with light soil; nicely protected in new clear mylar cover free!
