Charmingly illustrated by Swedish artist Erik Blegvad in pen & ink throughout the 198 pages, as well as the entire DJ, this 1974 reprint of the First British Edition from 1972 is an octavo with plain black cloth-covered boards lettered in bright gilt to spine. Condition is VG+: completely Mild rubbing to extremities, bumped corners, ding in front board at lower edge, with corresponding tiny chip to first few pages in front matter. Binding strong & straight, hinges secure. The bottom-clipped DJ also VG+: colorful & bright with just a couple of tiny chips; nicely protected by former owner in nonreflective mylar cover.
