A FIRST EDTION from 1927, this hardcover has black cloth-covered boards with a colorful front paper pastedown, lettered in gilt to front & spine. which shows just the slightest edgewear. In 221 pages + 1 page listing other books in series in rear, decorated with illustrated endpapers & orange illustrations framing each page & a brilliant color frontispiece.
