Orig. published in 1902, it is brought to life here for new generations with the enchanting illustrations of a fellow New Englander, children's book author & illustrator Tasha Tudor. 194 pages, with Tudor's pen-and-ink illustrations throughout. A FIRST EDITION, first printing from 1967, this 12mo (5.25" x 7.50") has bright red cloth-covered boards lettered in black & front & spine.
