Tales from Andersen

Brilliantly illustrated by Italian artist Libico Maraja, this is a collection of 4 classic tales from the Hans Christian Andersen, retold by Shirley Goulden. Book printed in Italy for Grosset & Dunlap, no date, but circa 1960 (like others in this series). Oversized hardcover with decorative white paper over boards is in Fair condition, downgraded due to pen scribbling on front cover & a few pages within. For the most part, it is very clean, binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages modestly tanned around edges & there is moderate rubbing to extremities, heavier along bottom edges & all corners.
